Direktor Hidemaro Fujibayashi über Open World, ...

  • Hidemaro Fujibayashi, Direktor von Zelda: Breath of the Wild, sprach in einem Interview mit Gamerant erneut über Hintergründe und Überlegungen seitens der Entwicker zu dem neusten Ableger der Serie. Darunter gab er an, dass das Open World Design aus Breath of the Wild möglicherweise ein neuer Standard auch für künftige Teile der Serie werden könne:



    “We can’t really say much at the moment but there are lots of things in this current game design we still want to explore. If, as a result of that exploration, we feel positive we can provide our audience with new experiences it’s possible this design could become the standard.”



    Darüber hinaus gab er zu verschiedenen Themen Auskunft, etwa zu dem Rating des Spiels seitens der Fachpresse, der Speedrunner, über die Platzierung von Breath of the Wild in der Timeline, über Ganon und warum dieser nicht spricht, Inspirationen der Titanen und mehr:
